Product Support

Design Input – getting the product right for compliance during the design and development process is always better than retrospectively addressing issues at the last minute, design for compliance! Even better, establish the approvals and compliance requirements at the specification phase.
A Compliance Risk Analysis is often required for CE/UKCA, from which a Compliance Strategy can be created.

Product Review – assessing and reviewing a product before you send it for external assessment or as part of an internal assessment will improve the likelihood of a successful testing and assessment phase.

Testing Support – once a product is in the hands of an external testing agency, support can be provided to navigate the process and technical aspects.

Test Report & Certificates – are the test reports and certificates you get, either from a test house or from a supplier, good for purpose and provide you with what you need?

Technical Files – are your Technical Files up-to-date and referencing current standard revisions? A Technical File needs maintaining over a product’s life-cycle, to ensure the compliance of a product is maintained.

Declarations of Conformity – is your Declaration of Conformity up-to-date and does the Technical File back up your declaration? There are differing requirements for EU and UK Declarations of Conformity from 2021.
